Teaching

One of our core values at North East Family Medicine is Education. We value the opportunity to nurture the doctors of the future and introduce them to our community.

We currently have partnership with the RACGP and ACRRM

We offer teaching opportunities with the University of Melbourne for first and third year medical students. We find their input into the care of our patients extremely rewarding.

This year’s 3rd Year Medical Student is Abigail Malpass.

GP training typically occurs over a 2-3 year period. GP registrars work in a number of clinics to gain experience in different clinical settings.

These registrars are supervised by senior GP’s in the clinic and undertake written and clinical exams and work based assessments.

This year’s registrar is Dr Bree Lucas
