We try to help accommodate for family, personal and study commitments with flexible working arrangements, where possible. Our aim is for everyone in our team to feel that they have rewarding and meaningful work, but that work is not their entire life.

Since we opened in 2018, we’ve strived to continue to be innovative, not just with our patient care but also with the administrative team. Ways we have done this include:

  • The latest Best Practice software
  • E-prescriptions
  • AutoMed systems, for online bookings and automation of processes
  • Remote Desktop access
  • Use of Point-of-Care ultrasound in a general practice setting
  • Telehealth consultations, in primary care with our patients and with specialists from Melbourne or Interstate.
  • Creating sub- specialist interests/clinics such as Antenatal or Skin Clinics, all within the framework of NEFM

  • Current DPA/bonded medical region
  • No hospital on call
  • Limited on call roster with minimal after hour consultants
  • Work as an employee, with sick and annual leave provided
  • Open door policy between all our staff to be able to seek support when needed
  • Ability to work on and develop sub-speciality skills through post graduate studies. These skills can be used to focus your practice through the clinic.
  • Training and Development through Weekly teaching with medical and nursing staff, provided by our team, local specialist and local allied health practitioners.
  • Regular training in Basic life support is provided
  • Paid educational leave to attend conferences or workshops, for your professional development.
  • Opportunities for further education opportunities into topics such as the Medicare Billing, Chronic disease management, radiology etc. Murray PHN provide sessions for both medical and nursing staff.
